William "Bill" Burgess (birth registered January→March 1939 (age 72–73) in Barrow-in-Furness district) is an English former rugby union and professional rugby league footballer of the 1960s and '70s who at representative level has played rugby union (RU) for Lancashire, and at club level for Furness RUFC, and Fylde RFC, and at representative level has played rugby league (RL) for Great Britain, England, and Lancashire, and at club level for Barrow, and Salford, playing at Wing, i.e. number 2 or 5.
